Event Overview:
This three-part series combines online and offline modules, offering a holistic approach to understanding and combating power abuse.

The goal is to empower (academic) leaders with the knowledge and tools needed to proactively prevent misconduct.

The series is interactive, engaging, and informative. The event is conducted in English for a global audience.

Part 1
Wednesday, November the 29th 2023
Time: 10:00 – 11:00 am Zoom
This session explores power dynamics, appreciation, and respect. It emphasizes their connection to increased productivity and introduces the basics of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). By the end, participants will recognize the significance of these principles and their roles.

Part 2
Wednesday, December the 6th 2023
Time: 09:30 am – 01:30 pm
Room: 2.048, Halbmondstraße 6-8, Erlangen

This immersive workshop delves into numbers, data, reasons, and effects of power abuse. It covers the duty of protection, examples, interactive exercises, and action plan development. Participants will leave with a strong understanding and actionable strategies to combat power abuse with the focus on sexual harassment and sexism.

Part 3
Monday, January the 29th 2024
Time: 10:00 – 11:00 am Zoom 
The final session focuses on reporting experiences, Q&A, and solidifying commitments to implement learnings from Parts 1 and 2.

Places are limited and will be allocated in the order of registration.
It is highly recommended to attend all modules.
